Funeral services for Hazel McMillan Cookston, 96, of Levelland will be Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10:00 am at Fifth Street Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Prather officiating. Burial will be under the direction of George price Funeral Home. She went to be with the Lord on Sunday November 10, 2013. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 6pm to 8 pm. At George Price Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cookston was born October 14, 1917 to William and Myrtle McMillan in Scurry County. She married Joe Frank Cookston on December 22, 1938 in Clovis, New Mexico.

Mrs. Cookston worked for Atchison jewelry for many years. She was a member of Fifth Street Baptist church for 81 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, two sons, Joel and Jerry, her brothers Gordon McMillan and Jack McMillan, her sisters, Ila Mae Hicks, Sara Jo Hale and Loma Richards.

In lieu of flowers the family asks you to donate to the Fifth Street Baptist Church building fund.
