Mrs. Annie Ruth (Ann) Fite Walraven, 89, a long-time resident of the New Town Community, died Saturday, November 7, 2020, at her residence after a period of declining health.

Annie Ruth was born in Gordon County, Georgia, daughter of the late Eunice Fite. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law; Janice Tomlinson Meadows and her husband Byron, sister; Jackie Fite, brother; Robert Craig and by her first husband and father of her children; Jack L. Tomlinson in 1968. She grew up in the Curryville Community and was a graduate of Oostanaula High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by O’Jay Mills and Coronet Industries. She loved and adored her family and her church family at New Town Baptist Church where she was a member.

Survivors include three sons; Jimmy Tomlinson, Gary (Charlotte) Tomlinson and Frankie (Terresa) Tomlinson, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister; Mildred Branton, sister-in-law; Patsy Craig, nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

A service to celebrate Ann's life will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2020, at 3:00 PM from New Town Baptist Church with Rev(s) Walter Hare and Eddie Brannon officiating. Jeff Rogers will arrange the music. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include; Tony Tomlinson, David Craig, Kurt Craig, Cole Craig, Danny Parker, and B.J. Swanson.
