Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Thursday afternoon at Dobie Funeral Chapel for Mrs. J. S. Steadman, a resident of Mathis for the past 22 years, who died at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon in a Mathis hospital. Burial will be in the McNabb Cemetery, the Rev M.H. Sales of Alice officiating.
She is survived by her son, Sam Preston Steadman; and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Lange and Mrs. Roy New.
