Born in the Elmwood section of Edgefield County, Mr. Ouzts was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emily Kemp Ouzts; four daughters, Mrs. E. H. Parkman of Saluda, Mrs. W. L. Watkins of Greenwood, Mrs. H. B. Kemp of Trenton and Mrs. R. T. Timmerman of Edgefield; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Harling and Miss Flora Ouzts; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. at McKendree Methodist Church by the Rev. Howard Smith. Burial will be In the church cemetery.
