Frederick R. Bixby, 54, machinist for the Straight-Line Engine Company, died this morning at his home, 271 Bryant Avenue. after a short illness. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Bixby; four daughters, Mrs. Edward Smith, the Misses Dorothy and Mary Bixby and Mrs. Edward Fontana, and a sister, Mrs. Sykes Sherman of Albany. The funeral will take place from the establishment of A. E. & F. J. Snyder, funeral directors, at a time to be set later.
