He was the son of Osker Burnett and Trecie (Eakins) Reaves. He was a carpenter and had lived in Graham, Texas for the last 20 years.

Survivors at time of death included one brother; Bill Reaves of Morrilton, Arkansas and one sister, Eulene Luke of Springtown, Texas.

Lee Roy liked to catch fish and he liked to eat fish. It would be hard to say which he liked to do best.

He was a good cook and he enjoyed cooking. He always cooked fruit cakes for friends and family at Christmas time and his deep-fried turkeys were delicious as were all his dishes. He always said, "you can't trust a skinny cook".

He was a good friend and a good neighbor. He is missed.
