Mrs. Tensie Leverette, 75 years old of Route 2, Alma, Arkansas was found dead in the yard at her home August, 29, 1967. Born December 9, 1891 in Searcy county, Arkansas, Mrs. Leverette was the daughter of Jake and Elizabeth (Watson) Adams and the wife of W. C. Leverette who died in 1954. She had been a resident of Alma for 15 years and was a member of the Maple Shade Nazarene church.

Survivors are two sons, Idus, of Alix, Arkansas and Clarence of Bristol, California; a brother, Clark of Alma; a sister Mrs. Kuykendall of Alma.

Funeral service was held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Maple Shade Nazarene church with J. E. Mitchell officiating. Blurial was in Houston cemetery at Alix and was directed by Edwards Funeral Homr.
