T.W. was the son of David "Dave" Lee Woodruff and Ella (McDaniel) Woodruff.

T.W. and Willie Jo Billington were married December 29, 1909 at Rotan, Fisher County, Texas. They had nine children and were later divorced.

T.W. WOODRUFF PASSES AWAY

Funeral services were indefinite for Thomas William Woodruff pending arrival of relatives. Woodruff was found dead at his home, 118 West Calla, Sunday and death was attributed to a probable heart attack seizure.

Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of McLellan Funeral Home.

Thomas William Woodruff was born November 20, 1881, in Parker County, Texas, the son of Mrs. and Mrs David Woodruff.

He came to Frederick in 1927 and followed the occupation of
farming. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and had a host of friends in this area.

Survivors include these children: Robert Lecil Woodruff of Hamlin, Texas, Cecil Woodruff, Lloyd Woodruff, Mrs. Maudie Williams, Mrs. Ulavell Scott, Mrs. Lois Meyers, Mrs. Edna May Guthrie, Mrs. Adell Harris, all living in southern California.

Fain McDaniel gave me the picture of T.W. and I took the picture of his headstone.
