Betty was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio where she met and married Harry Crum. She traveled all over the country during his 20 odd years in the Navy, finally settling in Morgan County, Ohio in 1959. There she remained until 1995 when she moved to Indiana to be near her son. She died on July 20, 1999 at Owensboro Mercy Hospital, Owensboro, KY following a brief illness. She is remembered and missed by many. May she be resting in peace.
