SPUR - (Special) - Rites for Sallie Jane Shockley, who died about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday at Williamburg Nursing Home in Abilene, will be at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church here. The pastor, the Rev. Norris Taylor, will officiate.
Burial, directed by Campbell Funeral Home, will be in Espuela Cemetery near here.

Mrs. Shockley, 93, was born in Georgia. She came to Dickens County in 1915 and had moved to Abilene four years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Carmen Givens of Abilene, Julia Lewis of East Vaughn, NM and Eula Merchant of De Kalb; a sister, Mrs. Lula Karr of Spur; 12 grandchildren 29 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
