DALSTRA - Mr. Raiford Dalstra, aged 62, of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, December 9, 1990 from Kidney Failure, a complication of Diabetes.
He retired after 35 years of service from Oven Fresh Bakery. He was a Past Governor of the Wyoming Moose Lodge #763, Legion of the Moose #108, V.F.W. Post 10883, Amvets Post #23, Retired Teamsters Member Local #406.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his sons, Steven (Jenelle) and Craig; his daughters, Ruth (Larry) Porath of Phoenix, AZ, Judy (Wayne) O'Connor, Robin (Andrew) Morgan, Linda (Jerry) Cook, Kathleen and Laura at home; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald (Marge) of Dewey, AZ, Rodger (Lois); one sister, Ardis Conde; aunt, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Visser officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The family will meet relatives and friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Sullivan-Borr Chapel of Cook Funeral Home (1725 S. Division).
