Obituary
The death of Mrs. Mary Alice Robicheau, 84, of Doucetteville, Digby County, occurred at the home of Reid Melanson, Doucetteville. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice; one daughter, Gracie; and one son, Lea. Surviving are four sons, Alphie, Berlin, N.H.; William, Coldbrook, N.B.; Mark, Los Angeles, Cal.; Ernest, New York; and nine daughters, Annabel (Mrs. Fred Thibodeau), Halifax; Eliza (Mrs. Walter Robicheau), Berlin, N.H.; Dot (Mrs. Ernest Haight), Doucetteville; Celeste (Mrs. Ronnie MacNeil), Freeport, Tex.; Lennie (Mrs. Lennie Reul), New Jersey; Josephine (Mrs. John Kelly), Lynn, Mass.; Naomi Hatfield, Dartmouth; Irene (Mrs. Vincent Galla), New Jersey; Blanche (Mrs. Peter Smith), Freeport; 39 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are six brothers, Alphie Amero, Alaska; Don and Wilfred Amero, British Columbia; Eldridge Amero, Manitoba; Martin Amero, Albon, Me.; Israel Amero, Nova Scotia; and two sisters, Sadie Leeman, Calif. and Estella Partridge, Gloucester, Mass. The funeral was held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Doucetteville, Rev. R. N. Deveau officiating.
