Plymouth, Nov. 9–Mrs. Deborah W. Dixon, oldest woman resident of Plymouth, died at her home, 8 Whiting st. late Thursday night following a brief illness. She was in her 92nd year.
Mrs. Dixon was the widow of Walter S. Dixon. She as a native of Plymouth and came of Pilgrim stock, her father being Truman Sampson of Plymouth and her mother, Ruth Burgess Sampson. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Elda May Dixon of Plymouth, and a son, Walter L. Dixon of Dorchester; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 Sunday afternoon at her home. Rev. Carl Knudsen, pastor of the Church of the Pilgrimage, officiating. Interment will be in Vine Hills Cemetery.
