Burial sites of Jeremiah Kimbro (c. 1777 to late May, 1847) and wife Elizabeth [Burrow] Kimbro (Oct. 1765 to c. 1850) are currently unknown or unmarked; placed here among several of their children and other relatives. Bedford Co. Deed Book PP, pp. 178-81 records 1847-48 quit-claim deeds to Joseph Holt [memorial #19541615] from Jeremiah Kimbro's other heirs, referring to Holt's newly inherited tract as the one "on which he [Jeremiah Kimbro] resided at the time of his death." I believe this land then remained in possession of the Holt family until the death of my cousin Sam T. Holt's widow Oma, in 1962. Sam and Oma are buried in Shelbyville [memorials #182131924, #182131878].
