KINGSBURY - Adam Joseph Candler, 19, died at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at U.S. Hwy 6, west of Co. Road 400 East in Jackson Township, Porter Co., IN.
Mr. Candler was born August 9, 1988, in LaPorte, IN, to Larry and Carolyn (Elliott) Candler. He was a 2007 graduate of LaPorte High School, worked at PaPa John's Pizza in LaPorte, participated in football, track and wrestling at LaPorte High School, and loved music and playing XBox. He was a very loving son and a great brother.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Lester F. Todd of Kingsbury; his father, Larry Candler of Colorado; a sister, Ashley Candler of Kingsbury; brothers, Austin Candler of Kinsbury and Ryan Ledgerwood of LaPorte; a half brother, John Candler of Missouri; grandparents, Laddie and Marjory Elliott of Kingsbury; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Kingsbury Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today in Essling Funeral Home, LaPorte. Memorial contributions may be made to the LaPorte High School Booster Club, 602 "F" Street, LaPorte, IN 46350.
