Mrs. Busby was born in Buchanan, GA on May 27, 1953, daughter of the late Albert Barger and the late Sarah Timms Barger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Chaney Hill Busby, by 2 children, Rhonda Gail Womack and Ruby Elizabeth Busby, by 2 brothers, Billy Lee Barger and Charles Barger, and by a sister, Eunice Baker. Mrs. Busby worked in home health for various companies and in the private sector. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include 5 daughters, Becky Smyth (Robert), Silver Creek, Melissa Prater, Cedartown, Donna White (Mike), Rome, Joyce Butler, Cave Spring, and Cindy Amos, Cave Spring; 3 sons, Jimmy Womack (Laurel), Silver Creek, Bobby Womack, Silver Creek, and Allen Busby, Cave Spring; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Langham (David), Armuchee; a brother, Michael Barger, Rome; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at 3pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with her son-in-law, Robert Smyth, officiating. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Pallbearers are requested to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Sunday by 2:30pm and include: Alex Tortoso, Tony Tortoso, Owen Womack, Zach Womack, Brandon Lovering, Chris Evans, Brett Hayes, and Stephen Britt.
