Enos was the son of William M. Armstrong and Fannie A. Williams. He married 3 times and fathered 5 children: m1 to Alice Rebecca Eaton with 2 children Arle M. and Eruth Marie Armstrong; m2 to Mary Jorgensen with 3 children Glen E., Bernice Bell and Irvin Ray Armstrong; and m3 to Effie Frances (Anderson) Moore.
