She was born on February 19, 1951 in Scott County, Virginia to Mildred Louise (Osborne) Honeycutt and W.W. Honeycutt. On December 9, 1972 she was married in Angola, Indiana to Roll Dean Neeley. They raised two children and shared 35 years of marriage together before he passed away on July 31, 2008.
Prior to the illness that disabled her activity, Edna retired from Zimmer, Inc. in Warsaw, where she was a seamstress. She fought the disease which took over her life with dignity and determination and a “never give up” attitude. She enjoyed sewing and exercising her green thumb gift of tending to her flowers. Sunshine warmed her heart and encouraged her. Edna was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister whose smiling face will be dearly missed and forever loved by her family and many friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son: David (Charisse) Neeley (Warsaw, Indiana); daughter: Lynette Burris and fiancé, Jim Ward (Lebanon, Indiana); six grandchildren: Tadd, Tanner, Taylor, Trevor, Olivia and Tabitha; one great-grandchild: Lucas. Also surviving are her three sisters: Madge (Leo) Dennison (Wabash, Indiana); Norma Reichard (Kingsport, Tennessee); Mary Wells (Kingsport, Tennessee); and three brothers: Tommy Honeycutt (Wabash, Indiana); Ronnie (Penny) Honeycutt (Fall Branch, Tennessee); Rickey (Lynn) Honeycutt (Prestonsburg, Kentucky). She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
