Mrs. Smith, the daughter of the late Monk Barlow and Fannie Arnold Barlow, was born in Cochran on March 04, 1921, and had lived in Gray for the past thirty-one years. She was a graduate of Cochran High School and she was a homemaker, as well as a member of Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Felton Smith.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Kaye and Hurley Smith and Lynne and Rick Jones, all of Jones County; grandchildren and spouses: Jim and Allyson Smith, Jeff Smith, Amber and Bryan Simpson and Abbie and Lee Whitaker, all of Jones County and Richie and Angie Jones of Nashville, Tennessee; and by seven great-grandchildren.
