She was born February 7, 1923 in Daviess County, IN to the late Dale and Mae (Raney) Allen.
She married Elmer Lottes on June 4th, 1942 and they were married for 63 years.
Mary was a home maker and also worked at Loogootee Textile and Washington UniRoyal. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed gardening and ceramics. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Alfordsville Christian Church.
She is survived by daughters, Sharon Willis of Washington, IN, Phyllis Fitch and husband Bill of Alfordsville, IN and Barbara Harker and husband Ike of Alfordsville, IN; son, David Lottes and wife Becky of Alfordsville, IN; ten grandchildren; five step grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother and six sisters.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer Lottes; son, Ralph Lottes; four brothers; three sisters; and infant brother and sister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, IN. Burial will follow in Alfordsville Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home and from Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 9:00 AM until time of service.
