Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
A-Della Sowards, surviving spouse of the Rev. Jesse Sowards, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. She is survived by three children: Sam Sowards of Stockton; David Sowards of Bodfish, CA; and Emily Bearnhart of Gardnerville, NV; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Condolences to the family may be sent to 3011 Admiral Drive, Stockton, CA 95209. There will be no memorial service.
After three years serving in the Missouri West Conference, Jesse and A-Della moved to California-Nevada and served the Hornbrook-Hilt, Yolo Co Parish, Shasta Dam Community, Portola, Los Molinos-Cone, Mariposa-Coulterville, Mariposa-Catheys Valley, Wasco, Valley Springs and Linden churches before retiring in 1982. Jesse Sowards passed away in 2001.
