SARAH N. JONES TAKEN BY DEATH
Long Time Resident of this City Died Suddenly; Many Friends And Relatives Mourn
Mrs. Sarah N. Jones, 83, for the past 30 years a resident of this city, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. K. Maxwell at 1212 South Fifteenth Street this morning. Death came rather suddenly and was unexpected. Mrs. Jones was very well known and had a great many friends and relatives who mourn her death.
She was the widow of Job E. Jones, who preceded her in death June 23, 1942. In addition to her step daughter, Mrs. Jones is survived by one brother, Wm. Nelson, of Ryegate, Vermont.
Mr. Jones was a former mine superintendent in this vicinity. Following his death Mrs. Jones had lived at the Maxwell home. She attended the Gospel chapel and was active there when her health permitted.
Funeral services will be held at the Johnson Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Saturday.
