Services for Carolyn Glaspie Stainback, 67, of Whitehouse will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Wilkins and Rev. Matt Gregory will be officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Whitehouse under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Carolyn passed away October 29, 2020 after a brief illness. Her family was by her side.

She was born to the late Pete and Francis Glaspie on November 4, 1952 in Tyler, Texas. Carolyn attended Whitehouse High School and graduated with her associate degree from Tyler Junior College. Carolyn worked at UT Health East Texas Physicians Clinic as Regional Director until she retired in 2018. Carolyn attended Harvest Time Church and was a charter member of Southpoint Church of God. Carolyn was a mentor and a special friend that holds a special place in many peoples’ heart. She loved her family as much as life itself.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Dean; her parents, Pete and Francis Glaspie; brother, Henry Glaspie; and sister, Betty L’allier.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Dean Stainback and daughter-in-law, Leslie; grandson, Dylan Stainback and wife, Keri; granddaughter, Lauren Stainback; great-grandchildren; Caleb Hugo, and Eli and Maci Stainback. She is also survived by her siblings, Vernon Glaspie and Sara Glaspie Hall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tabby Stegall, Tom Cox, Mike Glaspie, Earnie Glaspie, Jamie Dixon and Tim Taylor.
