Harriet "Hattie" Bell Cline, a daughter of Kadmiel and Patience (nee Steel) Cline, was born on 8 Jan 1857 in Illinois.

Her first husband was Rev. Robert Oswald Stockton. Only four of their nine children lived to adulthood. Rev. Robert Oswald Stockton died before the log cabin photographs were taken. Standing near "Hattie" in the log cabin photograph was her brother-in-law Thomas Sheridan Stockton.

Widow Harriet "Hattie" Bell (nee Cline) Stockton married George W. Foughty on 4 Dec 1894 in Payne County, Oklahoma. He died on 31 Aug 1916 near Swan, Taney County, Missouri. George W. and Hattie B. Foughty share the same headstone.
