Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Beebe Green, 75, wife of Elmer K. Green, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the North Walnut St. Nazarene Church by the Rev. Donald Snow. Burial will be in the family lot at Elm Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Green died early Thursday morning at Ball Hospital after an extended illness. Formerly of Portland, she had resided at the family home on Sharon Rd. near DeSoto.
She was the daughter of William and Sarah Leonard Lamb and was born in Union County near Liberty. She was a member of the North Walnut St. Nazarene Church.
Besides the husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Omer Longerbone, of near Carlos, and Mrs. Charles Schmidt, of Winter Haven, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ernest Pittenger, of Delaware County; a sister, Mrs. Arena Longman, of Portland; a half-sister, Mrs. Lizzie Pitsinger, of Eaton, O.; a brother, Everett Lamb, of Portland; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary until noon Saturday and at the church an hour before services.
