Found bio in old church cyclopedia and including here if you care to post it:

"Buffum, Rev. Obadiah B., son of James and Mary (Baker) Buffum, was born in Boston, N.Y., March 15, 1818. He married Ann E. Elmendorf in 1835, and Sarah A. Bailey in 1845.
He joined the Boston church in 1834, was, with his wife, among the first members of the Colden church, organized in 1840, and began to preach the following year. He preached to the Colden church and in the town until his ordination in 1853, after which he moved to Elma. His labors have been in Colden, Hamburg, Marilla, West Concord, West Falls, Cowlesville, Fulsomdale and Elma, where he has enjoyed the Lord's blessing.
Of his eight children, six are members of the Cowlesville church, and two it is believed, are in the church above."

Marilla, May 7 - The funeral of Rev. Obediah B. Buffum was held Sunday at the F. R. Church, Rev. _. M. Simonton officiating, assisted by Rev. L. A. Wright, pastor of the M. E. Church. Mr. Buffum was well known and a highly-respected citizen who had resided here for many years and was __ years of age. He leaves four sons and twod (sic) aughters (sic), Mrs. Hattie Dodge of Kansas, Mrs. M. Phelph of this place, Rev. Ira Buffum of Minnesota, David of Cowlesville, Charles and Horiato of ____.

According to the History of Wyoming County, New York:
Was pastor of the Free Will Baptist Church, Cowlesville, Spring, 1878 until May, 1879
Was pastor of the Free Will Baptist Church, Folsomdale beginning May 1, 1879
