Raised on her parents' farm between Bourbon and Sullivan, Della was married in Bourbon, Crawford Co., MO., to a 26-year-old schoolteacher, "T.O." RENFROW [pronounced "REN-fro"], ten days before her 22nd birthday, on June 12, 1895 (in a double wedding with her younger sister Flora; the brides' father had passed away the year before, and their mother would live for less than one month afterwards. A 1901 picture shows the Renfrows’ fine, two-story house in Cuba, Crawford Co., MO., the one probably known as “Edgewood Farm”; they later lived in Rolla, in neighboring Phelps Co., before moving to Oklahoma for about a year (c.1910-11), then to Reedley, Fresno Co., CA. (where Della's sister May, their parents and youngest sibling Oliver had moved a few years before) in April of 1912. In c.1919-20, the Renfrows moved to 1080 12th Street in Kingsburg, where Della's husband was the high-school principal for many years, then a judge. Della died a year after her husband, and one month after her sister Flora.
