Died between 1856-1860.

Maja (also known as Mary) Simonsdotter was born April 23, 1792 in Nybygget, Gammalkil Parish in Östergötland, Sweden, the daughter of Simon Kronberg and Catharina Johansdotter. She and her husband received passports in Linköping, Sweden on May 15, 1846. They were among the first settlers at Swede Point (Madrid, Iowa). She and her husband are listed in the 1850 US Census in Boone County, Iowa (now Webster County, however in 1850 Webster County had not yet been formed). In the 1854 Iowa Census which only recorded the head of household and numbers of occupants by sex, Andrew is listed as living with one female in the household in Hardin Township. In the 1856 Iowa Census she is listed living with her husband, son, A. P. Adamson, and daughter-in-law, Malinda Adamson in Hardin Township, Webster County, Iowa. In the 1860 US Census, Andrew is listed as living in his own residence near his son and family. Presumably Maja died between 1856-1860.
