Whitesboro -Thomas Visser, 21 Gardner St., died in Utica Memorial Hospital at 7 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 1940, after a short illness.
Mr. Visser was born In Oenkert, Netherlands, May 2, 1865, and came to Whitesboro in 1887 where he had since resided.
He was a farmer by occupation but was employed as a night watchman for the past few years by Richardson Boynton here.
He married Nina Pylman in Whitesboro in 1889. She died three years ago.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Theodore Rahn and Mrs. Adrian Malsan, both of Whitesboro and Mrs. Ray Tiffany, Marcy; three sons, Henry, Yorkville, and John and Philip, Whitesboro, and 15 grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Utica Daily Press, Thursday, April 4, 1940
