Services Today For Cecil W. Wright, 87
Funeral services for Cecil William Wright, 87, Republic, formerly of Brown Branch, will be held at 1 p.m. today (Thursday) in Fairview Church near Rueter with the Rev. Floyd Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery near Rueter under the direction of Kissee Mortuary & Chapel, Forsyth.
Mr. Wright passed away in his daughter’s home in Republic on Monday, June 21, 1993. He had lived in the Taney County area nearly all his life until a few months ago when he moved to Republic.
Mr. Wright is survived by four sons, Jack, of Kearney, Bill, of Platte City, Jerry, of Kansas City, and Roger, of Republic; four daughters, Delphia Mendel, of Ava, June Graham, of Lee’s Summit, Phyllis Batrez, of Kansas City, and Diana Sanders, of Republic; two sisters, Ethel Selvidge, of Rueter, and Goldie Smith, of Bradleyville; 31 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna, and a daughter, Genevieve Gabriel.”
