In Floyd House Hospital, Macon, Georgia, with chronic diarrhoea and debility July 15-25, 1864. Wounded in right eye, resulting in loss of sight, at Franklin, Tennessee, November 30, 1864. In Ocmulgee Hospital, Macon, Georgia, with gunshot wound, bullet having passed in front of right ear under zygomatic arch and at right of eye, January 18, 1865, until furloughed January 25, 1865.
