Fannie Elizabeth Goolsby Hudson, 93, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at GrayBrier Nursing and Rehabilitation in Trinity.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00p.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with family visitation a half hour before. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was born in Davie County on October 13, 1923, to John “Jack" Goolsby and Lula Mason Goolsby. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R.J. Hudson; a brother, John Goolsby, Jr. and three sisters: Lettie G. Brown, Nancy G. Hairston and Annie G. Burke.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Alice Benson of South Carolina; a devoted niece and caregiver, Judy Richards and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.
