Bobby Lambert, 87, of Mt. Blanchard, died at 8:50 p.m. on October 21, 2016 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born on October 11, 1929 to the late Edward and Lydia (Clinger) Lambert in Wyandot County, OH.
Bobby married Rose Anna Ball and they divorced. She preceded him in death on June 14, 2013. He then married Lucille (Walton) on October 2, 1960. She also preceded him in death on March 19, 1987. Surviving are two daughters, Kathy (Curt) Huston of Mt. Blanchard, OH, Sandra (William) Farabee of Mechanicsburg, OH; a son, Robert Lambert of Mt. Blanchard, OH, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Berl, Floyd, Gale, and Gerald, three sisters, Reva Faulk, Doris Lambert, and Betty Ratliff, and one infant son.
Bobby was a farmer and a farm hand for Shane Farms. He also helped at Shane's Meat Processing Plant near Upper Sandusky. In his spare time, Bobby enjoyed tinkering with odds and ends, mowing, and spending time outdoors.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at STOMBAUGH-BATTON FUNERAL HOME in Carey. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home with, Pastor David Noel officiating. Burial will follow in Wharton-Richland Union Cemetery, Wharton, OH.
