SON OF MRS. D. S. DUBARD PASSED AWAY LAST NIGHT
Murphy Kirkman, 15 year old school boy, son of Mrs. D. S. Dubard, died at St. Patrick's sanitarium last night (9 Mar 1926) shortly before 3 o'clock following an illness of about four weeks. He was attending Central school at the time he contracted the fatal illness. He was in the 7A grade.
Murphy was born in Lake Charles and was 15 years, 5 months and 28 days of age. He is survived by his mother Mrs. D. S. Dubard, his stepfather, D. S. Dubard; two half-sisters, Estelle and Clotilde Dubard; and three aunts, Misses Lillie and Ella Kirkman, both of Lake Charles, and Mrs. F. A. Dauffat of Houma, La.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence of Miss Ella Kirkman, 315 Lawrence Street. Pallbearers were schoolmates of Murphy. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
