Her children called her "Mama." Her grandchildren mostly called her "Grandmama" or "Grandmama Jones" (NEVER "Granny!"). She was "Ann" or "Miss Ann" to most everyone else. She died on what would have been her mother's 110th birthday. She was kind and loving and vivacious, a word I've never seen used about anyone else outside of books. She was friendly and outgoing; if you sat next to her on a bus or plane she would know all about your home and family and you'd know the same about hers. She delighted in everything her children did. We miss her more than words can tell.
