Margaret L. Curtis, 74, of 160 S. Farnham St. died Sunday, July 16, 2000, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.

Born July 18, 1925, in Roseville to Walter and Louise Rammage Helton, she married Alvin Curtis on Aug. 29, 1948, in Galesburg. He died June 6, 1989.

One brother also preceded her in death.

Surviving are three daughters, Tami Misdom of Front Royal, Va., Mrs. Robert (Janice) Ackman of Hinesville, Ga., and Mrs. John (Debra) Pinkham of Yuma, Ariz.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Emma) Locke of Dexter, Mich.; one stepson, George of Taylor, Mich.; one brother, Jon Helton of California; and four sisters, Mrs. Warren (Marsha) Riley of Galesburg, Mrs. Walter (Kay) Blue of Monmouth, Mrs. Jerry (Jean) Kindhart of Roseville and Mrs. Roger (Carol) Norris of Industry.

She was a coil winder at Gale Products Division of Outboard Marine Corp. for 30 years, retiring in 1982.

Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
