Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 16, 2001 at Providence Funeral Chapel in Taylor. Celebration of Mass will be 10 AM, Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor with Msgr. Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Dorothy was born on January 13, 1942 to Odell and Beatrice Marie (Hobbs) Morgan in Elgin, TX. She married Leroy Safarik on August 24, 1963 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor. Dorothy was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Safarik of Taylor; three daughters, Vickie Cohn and husband, Audie of Spring; Denise Titlow and husband, James of Thorndale and Cynthia Safarik and fiance, Matthew Phifer of Austin; two grandchildren, Courtney and Kayle Titlow of Thorndale; three sisters, Margie Eisenbeck and husband, Howard of Elgin; Bessie Dube and husband, John of McDade; Mary Almquist and husband, Edwin of Reagan; one brother, Jimmy Morgan and wife, Nora of McDade; four sisters-in-law, Dorothy Werchan, Vera "Boots" Safarik and Elsie Safarik all of Taylor and Margaret Safarik of Austin.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Safarik, Arnie Safarik, Larry Safarik, Michael Dube, Mike Cleveland, and Randy Klaus.
