Edward Ernest Viens, 44, of Westport died at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital after a long illness. He was born July 15, 1929, the son of Ernest and Eva Viens. He was school custodian for the past 17 years at Westport Central School. He is survived by his wife, Jessie (Barber) Viens of Westport; a daughter, Donna and 3 sons: Steven, Paul and Donald all of Westport, two sisters, Mrs. Morris (Shirley) Reynolds of Whallonsburg and Mrs. Marie Wilkins of Plattsburg, and his father, Ernest.
