Most of her adult life was lived in Jacksonville Fla. Her career was a health caregiver with Underhill agency for 20yrs. About 1971 she moved to Melrose Fla to the country where she worked as a health caregiver at Shands sunland training center in Gainesville Fla. Early 1980's she retired and moved to her country home in Cordele Ga.

Wife to Alvin Carlton Anglin who she married on a friday 8-31-1934 in Macon Ga. at the age of 17.

Gram worked the night shift in the 1970's in Gainesville Fla. (about 45 minute drive from home). One morning she fell asleep while driving home. The officer wanted to know what happened. She explained "Well like you, officer I to am human and we working the night shift, we tend to more easily drift off to sleep, certainly you would have a good understanding of this". The police officer didn't give her a ticket because her car did not touch the tree, and she appeared to not be injured. Gram said she was not about to inform him of the bruise she sustained on her leg. She said God sent an angel to stand between her car and the tree. She greatly enjoyed her church socials, family reunions, cooking, playing her organ, teaching her grand children crafts and the outdoor country life. She never said anything bad or negative about others.
