Ethel Louise Bever, 79, Salina, Kansas, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010.

She was born in Burlington on Sept. 26, 1931, the daughter of the late David W. and Tinie E. (Daniel) Shultz.

She graduated from Burlington High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D Bever on June 2, 2005.

She was a homemaker supervisor with the State of Kansas for 10 years and also worked as a physical therapist aide.

Survivors include daughters, Julie Bever, of Salina, KS, Jackie Murphey, of Chanute, KS, Joyce Carlburg, of Humboldt, KS; sons, Gary Bever, of Chanute, KS, Tom Bever, of Vera, OK, and Rick Bever, of Chanute, KS; a sister, Verda Lemas, of Melborne, FL; 13 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and by a grandson Charles Bever on Sept. 16, 2004.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorials suggested to Hospice of Salina, Kansas.
