MRS. TED LEE DIES
Mrs. Ted Lee, Herington, formerly of Delavan, passed away early yesterday morning. She was 21 years old.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at Herington Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. M. J. Alexander will be in charge.
Mrs. Lee had been ill for some time. She passed away at the Herington hospital.
Born December 21, 1935 she was graduated from Herington high school in 1953 and attended Emporia State College for two years. She was a member of Rainbow Girls and Alpha Sigma Alpha.
Surviving her are her husband and a 18-months-old daughter, Venise [Denise] Jan.
She leaves also her parents, Mrs. Robert Briix, Herington, formerly a teacher at Delavan, and Robert Briix of Kansas City, Mo., a sister, Mrs. Wanda Zirkle of South Haven (inaccurate) and six nieces and nephews.
She was the former Carolyn Joan Briix.

MRS. TED LEE
News has been received in Emporia of the death of Mrs. Ted Lee, the former Carolyn Briix of Herington. She died Thursday morning at the Herington hospital following a long sickness.
Mrs. Lee attended Emporia State College for two years and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. She is survived by her husband and daughter, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Briix, and two sisters, Mrs. Levon Thompson of McPherson, and Mrs. James Lowther of Grand Island, Neb.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the Methodist Church in Herington.
