Services were held Saturday for James Eugene Jenkins, 50, Guthrie, who died April 5, 1995, at Logan Hospital and Medical Center here. Burial was in Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie.

Mr. Jenkins was born Jan. 13, 1945, in Paris, Tex., the son of Paul Sr. and Carrie Rogers Jenkins. He lived in Guthrie for 2 1/2 years after moving from Lawrence, Kan., where he had been an equipment operator for the city and an employee of the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.

In Guthrie, he was a member and associate pastor of the House of Worship.

He married Rochelle Evans on June 8, 1990, in Lawrence. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Rick, Lawrence; two daughters, Cheryl and Kelly, Lawrence; a stepson, Randy Evans, Lawrence; a stepdaughter, Barbra Evans, Phoenix; three brothers, Paul and Daniel, Guthrie, and David, Parsons, Kan.
