Nora Elizabeth Calfee Hill, 76, resident of Lashmeet and widow of the late Hezchier Hill, died Sunday, January 13, 1963 at her home. A native of Bluefield, born February 26, 1886, she was a daughter of the late Augustus and Virginia Stinson Calfee. Survivors include six sons, Henry Toxel, James E., Tollis C. and Lon R. Hill of Lashmeet and Vaunia A. and Conley Hill of Rock; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Day and Reva Hill of Lashmeet, Mrs. Clifford Sheets of Springfield, OH, and Mrs. Doretta Syres of Princeton; one sister, Mrs. Mary Shrader of Matoaka; 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Mount Olive Methodist Church of Lashmeet. Rev. T.A. Mills will officiate with burial following in Mount Olive Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers and granddaughters will carry flowers. The body will be taken from Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton to the residence today at 3 p.m.
