Fred M. Church, 62, of 2366 Carol Drive died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at St. Mary Medical Center.

Born April 17, 1937, in Galesburg to Fred M. and Florence M. Watts Church, he married Sandra K. Fahlund on Dec. 31, 1982, in Galesburg. She survives.

Also surviving are one stepson, Jerry Wingo of Galesburg; two daughters, Ronda John of Galesburg and Katrina Church of Abingdon; and two stepdaughters, Kaylee Johnson of Galesburg and Christine Patrick of Abingdon.

One brother, one sister, and one granddaughter preceded him in death.

He was an Army veteran, stationed in Greenland. He was a member of the American Legion. He worked at a Maytag warehouse in Galesburg for 34 years, retiring in 1989. He most recently worked for Galesburg Register-Mail as a maintenance man.

Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with military honors.
