Mae Diaz

Funeral services for Mrs. Mae Diaz, 91, of Millard and formerly of Fremont, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bader-Rozanek-Lawson Colonial Funeral Home in Fremont. Elder Darrell Fitzwater will officiate.

Mrs. Diaz, a retired homemaker, died Friday at Good Samaritan Center Nursing Home in Millard. She had been ill for two years.

She was born on Feb. 28, 1889, in Tekamah, and had lived in Omaha since 1936. Mrs. Diaz was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints.

Mrs. Diaz was preceded in death by three husbands, Dick Barnum, Charles Sweet and Joe Diaz.

She is survived by four daugthers, Mrs. Matt (Mildred) Wallersheim, Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Mott (Ethel) Frady, Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. Don (Darlene) Cunningham, Colon; and Mrs. Louis (Vanita) Villafuerte, Omaha; six sons, Clifford Barnum, Apache Junction, Ariz.; Roland (Mike) Sweet, Fremont; J. D. (Jack) Sweet, Nickerson; Lowell L. Sweet, Milwaukee, Wis.; Bob Sweet, Nickerson; and Raymond Diaz, Omaha; 37 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two greatgreat-grandchildren.

Bader-Rozanek-Lawson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery.
