Son of Cora and Henry Anderson of Temple, Texas.
Served in World War I in US Army, rank of Corporal with the 163rd Depot Brigade at Camp Dodge Iowa. The Brigade was the base unit for the 88th Division, which processed new draftees and provided basic training. He enlisted in Dallas 7/30/1918, received an honorable discharge 02/04/1919. In the 1920 census he is shown to have lived at 504 S. Main Street in Temple and married to Aurora Anderson. Worked as a Cotton sampler, grader, and buyer in Temple and later Corpus Christi.
Died of pneumonia at Waco Veterans Hospital.
