Olive was a daughter of Catherine Forbes and Amasa Driggs.

She married an Irish immigrant, Thomas James Walshe, in 1899 at what was then Fort William, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

She died of Pulmonary Tuberculosis at the Ontario Hospital in New Toronto. Her burial was recorded at Fort William, which became amalgamated with Port Arthur and the townships of Neebing and McIntyre to form the city of Thunder Bay in January 1970.

No children have been documented at this date.
