My Great-Grandmother on my dear Mama's side -- my Granny's Mama:

The sweetest and most precious Mother anyone could ever have, as told to me by my Grandmother - Viola Houck (Hogle) Floyd. Granny said her Mother could not wait to get her first social security check to be able to get food and medicine. Sadly, she died and never drew her first check.

****

Married to Guy Raymond Hogle. Their children:

Peggy Gustenberger (she later changed her name to Grace) (Hogle) Walker
Elsie Hogle
Twins: Walter and Wallace Hogle
Edward Hogle
Viola Houck (Hogle) Floyd *my Granny*

Her parents:
Andrew Landis and Sarah Nichols Landis:
siblings:
Thomas C. Landis 1868
William Z. Landis 1871 (married Dolly Bunn)bn. 1874
Edwin Landis 1878
Dalla Landis 1874
John Landis 1887
Clarenece Landis 1889

Note: 2/8/2011
* My Granny Viola Floyd suffered with Alzheimers, and on July 3, 2003 - she went into a coma - she never came out of it and passed onto glory July 8, 2003. I just called my Mother to tell her that Great-Grandmother's death on 7/3 and Granny's coma on 7/3 brought me peace. My Mother, Patricia Floyd-Dodd shared with me that the night before Granny went into her coma - she told my Mama that her Mother came as a beautiful angel with sparkling wings, she kneeled on the floor praying - the spoke and she was gone. We now have an inner peace that Great-Grandmother came on her own Angel Day and prayed for her Little Girl's relief from this world's pain. This is profound and I know Granny will come back for us too someday.
****

Kindly respect my Great-Grandmother's Memorial:

~No Halloween Tokens
and
~No Silly Tokens please,

Thank you for your respect.

Granny always told Mother and that her Mother was an Angel. She was Methodist by faith.
