AECHTERNACHT–M'CRACKEN
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Cloninger announce the marriage of their sister, Miss Johnnie Inez McCracken to Henry Aechternacht, Jr. The marriage took place in Longview, February 15.

Aechternacht Rites Held
Funeral services for Henry D. Aechternacht, 51, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Rains & Talley Chapel. The Rev. Marion M. Harris, pastor of First Baptist Church, and the Rev. Robert Hardwick, pastor of Summit Methodist Church, conducted the rites. Burial was in Algoma Cemetery.
Pallbearers were W. L. Finigan, Rayford McCracken, Jack Dahmer, Tommy F. Taylor, Bill Cloninger, Lewis Rio, W. E. Clemmons and Fred Steele. Honorary pallbearers were his many friends and Dr. F. S. Conerly and Dr. H. P. Bray.
Mr. Aechternacht, a crane operator for the Texas & Pacific Railway Co., died about 8:15 p.m. Thursday at the T&P Hospital where he had been a patient since suffering a heart attack about three weeks ago. Although Mr. Aechternacht's son, Henry Aechternacht III, had been brought to Memorial Hospital as an accident patient about a half hour before Mr. Aechternacht died, he knew nothing of the accident, and was in good spirits and talking with friends.
Mr. Aechternacht was born Dec. 25, 1908, in Marshall, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Aechternacht. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the American Legion and the Electricians Union No. 777. He saw service in World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise Aechternacht, Marshall; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Lambert, Millington, Tenn.; and Jeannie Aechternacht, Marshall; one son, Henry Aechternacht III, Marshall; one brother, William L. Aechternacht, Grand Prairie; one granddaughter, Micky Lambert, Millington, Tenn.; one uncle, Fred Aechternacht, Dallas; two aunts, Mrs. Annie Hearne and Mrs. L. H. Murph, both of Marshall, and a number of nieces and nephews.
