Hubbard, Cecil T., Erfal A., Kenneth C. Blake, brother of Mrs. Ethel Ivy, Mrs. Vera Timmons, William C., Alivs, Oscar, John N., Preston L. and George C. Blake. Also surviving are five grandchildren. Friends are invited to call at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Funeral Home of Robert A. Pumphrey, Bethesda, Md., where services will be held on Monday, August 27, at 10 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.

Samuel L. Blake
Funeral services were held last week for Samuel L. Blake, 85, retired Texas farmer who died Aug. 23 at his home, 1021 Paul dr., Rockville. Burial was in Parklawn Cemetery.
A native of Texas and virtually a lifelong resident there, Mr. Blake and his wife, Ada L. Blake, came to Rockville from Amarillo a month ago.
Survivors, in addition to his widow, Include two daughters: Dorothy E. Hageman* of Rockville and Violet L. Hubbard of Omaha, Ark.; three sons: Cecil T. of Denver, Erfal A. of Amarillo and Kenneth C. Blake of Rockville, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
There are also two sisters, Mrs. Emma Ivy, Grandury, Tex., and Mrs. Vera Timmons, Amarillo, Tex., and six brothers: William B., of Mathis, Tex.; Oscar B., Grand Prarie, Tex., Newton, Alvis and Preston, all of San Antonio, and Clark, of Los Angeles, Calif.
* Mr. Blake and his son, Ralph, are buried in the Hageman family plot.
